What is a Private Membership Association (PMA)?

Private Membership Association is a type of business or group where services and participation are limited to members only, and not open to the general public.

  • It is a not-for-profit entity that has been created or organized for a charitable, philanthropic, educational, political, social, or other similar purpose.
  • PMAs operate in the private domain, separate from government rules and regulations, and function in a manner as to keep private business and private activities a private contractual matter between the association and the members.
  • Members collectively assert and stand upon their rights to determine what devices, products, procedures, or services will be used by them to maintain the health of their own body, mind, or spirit, and to provide and share legal and lawful services, procedures, advice, counsel, tips, and any other information or services which may be deemed beneficial to Association members.
  • PMAs do not need any authority or permission from any government for its creation or in order for it to continue to exist and function.

    Greetings to All,

I have a question in regards to the Abatement process.

Has anyone use this process before, and if so what was the result?

      Hello Dr. Colahar TR
We’re still in the process of pulling together information about the Abatement process. We know a few folks that have in depth knowledge about it and hoping for their input on the site soon. Also, we’ll create an Abatement section in the forums and move your question over their to begin a discussion with members that might have some good information.
      Thanks.
      David
