No more federal income taxes

I'm a national, am I able to stop paying federal income tax?

Once you've reclaimed your status as a national you're simultaneously gaining your status as a nonresident alien.  A nonresident alien is a designation used by the IRS that is consistent with a national designation by the U.S. Department of State.  An American  that is nonresident alien does not pay federal income taxes unless they worked directly for the federal government or work in the geographical area of the District of Columbia.  Of course, there are specific steps that must be completed with the IRS and your employers, in addition to reclaiming your political status as a national and understanding the concepts.  Also, it's important to understand the history of how we came to paying taxes in America.
